Puffy or Flat Stickers which came inside the packaging with the pony.
These stickers began appearing in the second year of pony production in 1983. Most ponies came with a sticker in their image for the next few years although some ponies missed out on stickers altogether and others were given random stickers showing other ponies.
Some are more common than others. Early Ponies such as Applejack and Cotton Candy and early Pony Wear stickers are among the easiest to find and are valued at roughly $1-3 with the higher end being for those on original backing and in good condition.
Some stickers command amazing prices. These are generally ones only sold in the UK with Mountain Boy and Princess stickers reaching $150 on rare occasions. Sea Pony stickers are also very sought after. As with anything it depends who's looking for it at the time.
The majority of stickers can be bought for under $10 and make a beautiful, addictive and easy to store collection.
